Fascinated by the power of healing through connection, I believe in the ability of people to transform when they feel truly heard and understood. Using a tailored combination of therapeutic approaches to suit the individual, I strive to provide an inclusive, safe, and inviting space for my clients to enter. I have several years experience working in different areas of mental health through emergency call taking with the Ontario Provincial Police, university guidance counselling, and in most recent years, counselling individuals.
My approach to therapy is warm, genuine, open, and sprinkled with a bit of humour. I believe a positive therapeutic rapport is vital to establish before any real work can be accomplished. My goal is to encourage and support clients as they navigate through their unique healing journey, and to draw upon their strengths through self-compassion and awareness.
