I have a special interest in supporting clients in their journey towards parenthood, and building a strong early attachment relationship with their child(ren). Becoming a parent can challenge you in ways you had never imagined, both physically and emotionally. It is never too early to reach out for support. This is particularly true for individuals who have experienced fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, traumatic birth experiences, or are struggling with their own expectations of what it means to be a parent.
Lifestyle transitions can be difficult. You don't have to manage it on your own. There is support. Whether it be support through infertility treatments, and the toll this can play on relationships; working towards preparing for delivery in those who have experienced previous trauma, or more general anxiety; managing mood disturbance; or bonding with newborn.
I offer a warm and respectful space to explore your present challenges. I believe in coming from a place of curiosity and openness when meeting clients. I draw on my experience in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Gestalt Psychotherapy, Family and Systems theory, Attachment, EMDR and Mindfulness based-therapies to meet you where you are on your current journey
