Welcome! It is important to me that my clients feel safe, supported, and heard at all times. I know from my own experience that starting counselling can be scary, but I am here to meet you with warmth, compassion, and non-judgement. I believe that our past wounds and the hustle bustle of every day life can make a lot of us feel overwhelmed and dis-connected from ourselves. I would love to assist you in coming home to yourself by re-connecting to your inner wisdom and guiding you in creating nurturing habits. It is my hope that you will experience a blossoming sense of self-worth and a growing capacity to navigate life’s challenges.
My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed at its core. I draw from a variety of modalities including somatic-based, expressive arts, attachment-focused, and cognitive behavioural therapy to assist you in deconstructing unhelpful thoughts/beliefs, become comfortable in your own skin, and increase your capacity to gently be with your experiences.
I specialize in working with folks who experience anxiety, have a history of trauma, and/or who struggle to sense their self-worth. I understand the importance of a good client-counsellor fit. I would be honoured to support you on your journey.
