I am a Psychotherapist with a Master's in Social Work (since 2004). I work with individuals, couples and families. Some of the topics I help people with include anxiety, depression, couples issues, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, grief & loss, serious health issues and prior traumatic events. I also work with parents and their children as they manage the intense emotions during parental separation and divorce. Therapeutic modalities include narrative, CBT/DBT and mindfulness-based approaches.
As a clinical Social Worker I offer individual, group and family therapy that helps people become aware of and manage emotions and thoughts. I am also a Physician Assistant and appreciate health and brain-body connections from a unique perspective. I practice anti-oppression, anti-racism and am supportive of LGBTQ2S people.
Anxiety, stress and conflict are part of being human. Some experiences and transitions in life are overwhelming. Through therapy you may increase understanding, acceptance and compassion and discover strategies to decrease stress and increase peace. Sometimes we just need to talk things through.
