My practice focuses on short to medium-term therapy where goal-setting is central. I work with adults of all ages, including teens aged 16 and up, who experience problems associated with depression or anxiety (including sleep difficulty/insomnia) and relationship struggles. Clients improve their coping skills and habits to support positive mental health, balanced thinking, living according to their chosen values, and managing stress.
My approach is founded in establishing a nonjudgmental, supportive connection with counselling clients to open up possibilities for meaningful change. I use CBT and incorporate other evidence-based strategies from ACT, Solution-Focused, Emotionally Focused (EFT) and Narrative therapies, Motivational Interviewing, and Compassion-based methods.
