I support people in cultivating their inner strength and wisdom to overcome challenges they are facing. My aim is to help people alleviate past and present suffering– feelings of grief, shame, anger, or anxiety– in order to lead healthier, more empowered and fulfilling lives. In practice, I encourage a collaborative therapeutic relationship, whereby all parties play an active role and clients feel feeling safe and supported to express themselves. With an MSW from McGill, and an ongoing career as a professional artist, I integrate my clinical skills, creativity and intuitive nature into my work.
I am particularly interested in how we can heal through slowing down our minds and connecting to our bodies. Using a humanistic and integrative approach, with an emphasis on attachment theory, mindfulness, emotional regulation and self-compassion practices, I support clients in establishing and actualizing their goals.
