Hi, my name is Laura. I am someone that believes that we are not meant to do life alone. In my work I am privileged to come alongside clients in their struggle. I am passionate about social justice, utilizing an anti oppressive framework, and building safe spaces that foster connection and belonging. I enjoy helping clients find their voice, develop their sense of self, connect to the body, and move through emotions. Together we can build a strong therapeutic relationship, where you can have the space to take the next best step towards healing and wellness.
My approach is based on evidence-based treatments including emotionally focused therapy, attachment theory, and somatic/trauma theory. I am also a Certified Expressive Arts Therapist and offer the opportunity for creative expression alongside talk therapy. I have experienced the gifts of the arts to hold space for both our deepest suffering and greatest joy.
