Whatever may have motivated you to begin your journey in seeking support, I'm so glad you have taken this courageous first step. Whether you have recently experienced a loss or traumatic event, or are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious, and not sure how to manage, counselling is a powerful tool to help you cope and thrive. My approach in counselling is warm and non-judgemental. I help my clients to realize the strengths within themselves, while helping them to tap into their inner resources, build resiliency, and enhance their "tool-box" of coping skills.
I help clients manage times of transitions, stress, and uncertainty while creating a safe and authentic space for clients to explore and process experiences and feelings, as well as draw connections between thoughts and behaviours and create positive change in their lives. I work collaboratively with my clients and each session is uniquely tailored to you.
As a Registered Social Worker (RSW) with a Masters degree in Social Work, as well as a Masters degree in Psychology, I have years of experience working with a diverse group of clients using evidence-based practices.
