If you feel challenged in your relationships while experiencing heightened states of anger, anxiety, depression, the pain of disconnection, or total avoidance of others, you are not alone. Conflict and relationship difficulties are painful and can lead to feelings of hopelessness, overwhelm, complete dysregulation, uncertainty and self doubt. If you relate to any of this in your role as a parent, I understand. I offer couples counselling informed by Gottman and Prepare Enrich methods, parenting support led by attachment focused interventions, and evidence-based trauma processing approaches that can all support healing.
I work from a family systems, attachment, trauma, and culturally informed perspective and I respect the unique experiences within each person that I encounter. My personal and employment history informs and supports my work with parents, couples, blended and adoptive families or issues related to neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, or life transitions.
Life is full of ongoing challenges that can feel overwhelming and impossible to manage at times. Acknowledging that you need support and that you don't want, or need to struggle on your own anymore is courageous.
