Children who encounter behavioural issues at home/school and/or might struggle with emotional regulation might benefit from support and guidance. Teens can sometimes encounter high levels of emotions which can also sometimes be difficult to navigate. Therapy can be helpful as it can help understand triggers and where the high levels of emotions are coming from. Sometimes youth and teens can express suicidal ideation and/or engage in self-harming behaviours. A risk assessment along with some therapy to gain coping skills can be helpful. I believe that every child has the ability to do well if given the chance.
I have 10 years of experience in the counselling world with children, teens and young adults. I can provide CBT, Exposure therapy, Play therapy, Talk therapy, along with many others. I also provide support to families who are divorced and suicidal risk assessments to youths under the age of 18.
