We can can all benefit from taking the time to reflect on our lives in the presence of a neutral therapist. When people encounter challenging situations or transitions, it can provide an opportunity for the development of the self. Therapy can provide an avenue to identify and interrupt old ways of thinking, feeling and behaving that are keeping one stuck. It provides an opportunity to reflect on one's life vs. automatically responding. In this process, a person is able to see things in a new light and identify different options for dealing with old problems.
I work primarily with adults in individual counselling. My specialties include; life transitions, loss, life review, and exploring meaning and purpose in one’s life. I have more than 20 years of experience, including more than 15000 hours of direct client counselling. I also provide supervision to therapists.
I regard myself as a therapist-coach, who practices from a position of empowerment and resilience. Together we'll identify your patterns of strength and build upon them to create the change that you seek.
