Kirsten approaches every interaction from a strength-based, trauma-informed perspective. She creates a compassionate, safe, and collaborative environment, supporting individuals' healing, and growth journey. Located across from the beautiful Kiwanis Waterfall Park, Kirsten is available in person in Regina, SK or virtually for those residing in SK, PE and NT.
Kirsten is professionally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and fully incorporates this in her practice. Her practice is further informed by Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness. Kirsten has studied yoga professionally, focusing on trauma-informed yoga.
When Kirsten isn't busy spending time with her husband and dog, she can be found expanding her knowledge to improve her practice. Kirsten has a wide range of interests, including trauma treatment, interventions for anxiety, stress management, and complementary approaches, including yoga, nutrition, and mindfulness.
