Seeing a therapist can be both daunting & exciting. Being vulnerable with someone, let alone a stranger, is tough for many. My hope with all individuals is to provide them with a safe space, that is comfortable & healing. My office is judgment-free & I am here to best support those willing to seek growth & change. What to expect when first seeing me? Relief & hope. I am aware that so many people want to be heard & validated, especially those in difficult relationships. I also believe that people enter therapy feeling stuck. We will shift between your past & present, identifying negative beliefs that continue to challenge you.
We work toward improving self-care, setting boundaries, freeing yourself from anxiety, healing from trauma. You will discover new understandings & perspectives about your past & present. I believe this is foundational for producing change, & when we pair these perspective shifts with practical coping strategies, I see the most transformative results.
I work collaboratively & empower people to work through their challenges using their own strengths. Therapy is very rewarding, it provides the much needed “you-time” we are all desperate for; it’s a place to connect, find motivation, feel supported, & learn about yourself.
