My views on the therapeutic relationship is a partnership with my clients to achieve their individual goals. I primarily work with children (ages 5+), youth and adults with varying mental health conditions, including; Anxiety, Depression, Self-Harm, Trauma, ADHD, ODD, OCD, and other complex mental health issues. My goal is to ensure my clients feel safe and supported throughout the therapeutic process, and comfortable with the direction of their own treatment.
My modalities of therapy are person-centred and vary depending on client needs, and ensuring treatment is tailored to each client. Primarily, my approaches include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused approaches. With younger clients, art therapy and play therapy techniques are utilized.
