“I can’t keep living this way, but I don’t know how to change.” Does this statement sound familiar to you? Once upon a time, I felt this way too. Therapy was my safe space to land, and now I hope to offer a safe space in return for the pre-teens, teens and adults I work with. My own personal experience with navigating mental health concerns gives me a unique ability to understand my client’s journey, and with this insight and perspective I can promise you that you will never feel judged in my room. Together, we will work to unpack your past experiences, explore your strengths, and make a plan for the life you hope to build.
If you are navigating the waters of depression, grief, stress, anxiety, self-harm, trauma, low self-esteem, or suicidal ideation, we will be a good fit. We will create a plan together to determine how our sessions look, whether that is incorporating CBT, DBT, narrative, or trauma work. As a trained music therapist, we can also incorporate music and art.
Reaching out for help feels scary at times - trust me, I know. I offer an accepting, inclusive, non-judgemental, and brave space to make you feel more comfortable as you work towards your goals, whether through psychotherapy or music therapy. I also offer a free consultation to make sure that this feels like a good fit for you - no strings attached!
