Youth deserve a safe and non-judgemental space where they can explore their emotions, develop coping skills, and create a strong foundation for their well-being. I am honoured to be trusted with the stories and experiences of young people as they learn about themselves and the complexities of life. I aspire to come alongside youth age 13-18 to provide empathic support as they navigate their teenage years.
With 18 years of experience as a K-12 educator and 8 years as both a school and clinical counsellor, I have supported children and youth from diverse backgrounds and cultures. I have extensive experience in working with neurodiverse youth, including those with giftedness, ADHD, anxiety, depression, autism, and school avoidance.
My approach to therapy involves fostering a safe and inclusive space where each individual's unique journey is respected. I incorporate CBT, attachment theory and family systems approaches into our sessions.
