I sometimes use humour during our sessions to reduce stress, and provide relatable examples so that you can integrate therapeutic skills into your life. I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness.
My approach is holistic, in that I consider all aspects of your life in order to bring fresh perspective on the challenges you are facing. I have varied life experiences that enable me to relate to many kinds of people in different life stages, and I will meet you where you are.
I specialize, and enjoy working with, individuals who are experiencing anxiety, low mood, low self-esteem, work stress, life transitions, interpersonal difficulty, and trauma. I prioritize LGBTQIA+ individuals as we are an underserved community.
