I’m a Canadian Certified Counsellor, as well as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and EMDR-trained clinician, and have also trained with Dr. Gary Namie from the Workplace Bullying Institute. I take an eclectic approach from a person-centred theoretical perspective, and I attune my approach to clients' unique needs while drawing upon cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and solution-focused therapy (SFT) interventions.
In my counselling practice, I aim to provide a respectful space supported by an empathic style rooted in compassionate listening. I strive to understand clients’ perspectives through the lens of their unique lived experiences to support them in their own self-discovery and growth to become their best selves.
