At the Kemptville Stress Relief Centre we provide transformative therapy for stress and trauma. We know it’s important to have a safe space for you to reconnect with yourself and access your own wisdom to help you heal.
Our team of Registered Psychotherapists and Registered Social Workers offers counselling for ages 16+ to individuals and couples. Our approach is collaborative and client-centred; we believe that you are the best expert on yourself. We use an integrative and psychodynamic approach including Rogerian Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Emotion-Focused Therapy and Mindfulness. Our clinicians have additional training in a variety of evidence-based trauma-informed approaches including psycho-biologically and somatic based approaches, such as EMDR and Somatic Experiencing. Our work with clients from all orientations, ethnicities, and backgrounds reflects our commitment to diversity & inclusion.
We believe that the most important aspect of therapy is connecting with the right therapist - both in terms of personality style and area of expertise.
