Hi, my name is Kelsey. I am a registered with the CRPO, and I hold a BAH in Psychology and Masters Degree Counselling Psychology. Throughout my 9 years of my experience, I have provided supports for various mental health concerns and have focused my education on sexual violence, complex childhood traumas, and anxiety disorders. I believe in using a bottoms-up approach in therapy by softly engaging parts of our bodies that hold our experiences by practicing brainspotting therapy, parts work, somatic processing, polyvagal theory with elements of cognitive behavioural, dialectical behavioural and solution focus modalities.
I have experience working with various age demographics but am most suitable for adults. I focus on a wide range of trauma experiences and abuse, adverse childhood experiences and the impacts they have on understanding our world, relationships, and ourselves. I also focus on anxiety, obsessive-compulsions, and binge eating.
My goal is to help my clients become compassionate towards understanding themselves and to confidently explore their reality and find self-discovery.
