I work with many kinds of clients. Kids and youth; couples and families; people with a wide range of neuro-diversity as well as diversity in gender, sexuality and identity. I offer a great play therapy space for youngsters. Those with a creative imagination may be drawn to creative arts therapy. Do you want to understand yourself better? Communicate better with others? I listen carefully and help people express themselves fully. We can use image, metaphor and the creative process (through music, drawing, movement and story) to connect with inner knowing. Internal Family Systems and Polyvagal Therapy are additional great ways to explore the inner landscape and bring it into balance.
Life can seem like a confusing maze, white-water rapids, or an empty desert. Counselling is like having a knowledgeable, trustworthy friend along to help reflect on your experiences, find footholds, build a path and navigate to a better place. Self-Care Collage Workshop
In-person, one-time workshop of 3 hours. Take some time for yourself over the busy holiday season. We will work together on a brainstormed list of self-care techniques and then share the work of making a collage poster to represent each strategy. Photos of all the posters will be shared with each other, so we will each leave with an album of visual reminders.
