Life is unpredictable and sometimes the challenges we face can feel overwhelming. Whether you are a parent who is navigating your child's adjustment problems or you are grieving the loss of a loved one, I am here to help. As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Canadian Certified Counsellor, I have worked with a diverse clientele. Regardless of your situation, within our therapy sessions, we will work together to explore your strengths, enhance your coping abilities and attain your personal goals.
I apply evidence-based cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), including mindfulness techniques (MBCT) to my counselling work. I also apply eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to sessions, when appropriate. Finally, I recognize all clients are experts of their own lives; therefore, I adhere to a client-centered approach in our sessions.
I offer counselling sessions on a sliding scale. Our sessions may be in-person (London, Woodstock or Port Stanley), through videoconferencing or over-the-phone. If you are interested in working together, we can set up a free 15 minute consultation.
