When parents are unable to show up for their children, those children grow into adults with attachment wounds. These attachment wounds are visible in every relationship a person has and without proper tending to, they can cause great pain and difficulty in an individual's life. If you choose to work with me, we will explore your attachment style in addition to your attachment wounds and how these impact every facet of your life. Most importantly, we will work towards secure attachment to yourself.
I offer the experience of a securely attached relationship to my clients. This is necessarily slow and deliberate work which needs to be approached with tenderness and care. In our work together we will slowly excavate the defenses which kept you safe, and examine how they are serving you today. In so doing we will create space for new ways of being.
When a person is securely attached to themselves the world is less scary. This is because regardless of the outcome, the securely attached individual knows that they are worthy and loveable.
