Hello and welcome! I commend you on taking the first step toward improving your mental health and well-being. You deserve it. My name is Karla and I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO. I aim to create a safe space for individuals to explore and process thoughts, feelings, and behaviours that are causing them distress. I have experience working with individuals (16 years of age and up) who are struggling with various challenges including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, and relationship difficulties. If your goal is to live a more meaningful life, I am here to support you.
First and foremost, I offer a non-judgmental and caring therapeutic relationship. Operating from a culturally sensitive lens, I use a variety of evidence-based techniques; typically drawing from Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. As such, I support folks in taking action and living a life that is in line with their values.
