Clients come to counselling with an issue that is causing them to feel stuck. In our session, we will work together to discover the internal impacts of the issues or story that has brought you to counselling. We will resolve how your past experiences are impacting you in the present, transform your relationship with parts of yourself that are out of balance and discover ways to meet any needs in your life that are currently unmet. I focus on health and possibilities and I hold the hope that change is always possible.
I focus on fostering meaningful relationships and use an integrated theoretical approach to help clients achieve their goals. My favourite counselling model is Satir Transformational Systemic Therapy and I use this most often in my practice. This experiential model allows us to work collaboratively to achieve transformational change.
Sometimes it is hard to find solutions on our own. It often takes only one session to experience significant shifts in our feelings, perceptions, and expectations. These shifts can help us to gain clarity, feel hope and be intentional about how we are living our life. I look forward to helping you experience positive change and growth.
