I am trained to assist individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, obsessions and compulsions, and phobias. I am trained in CBT, ERP, CPT, PE, and ACT. I work from both a cognitive and behavioural perspective to assist you in meeting your goals; whether they be something concrete you wish to achieve, or to try and change your relationship with your anxiety or intrusive thoughts. I am passionate about helping individuals learn to face their feared situations and sensations. I work in a collaborative manner and aim to provide you with a non judgmental environment.
I am a Social Worker (MSW), who has been working in mental health since 2008. I am trained in CBT through McMaster University. I am trained in ERP, Advanced ERP for OCD, and PE (prolonged exposure for trauma) through the Center for Anxiety and Behavior Therapy (US). I am passionate about assisting clients make the behavioural changes they want.
I would love to assist you in working through the issues you are facing. It is important to me to offer my clients the best possible services, and as such I have invested in being trained in evidence-based practices. I constantly continue to refine my skills and learn new things by engaging in ongoing trainings.
