Parenting is a wondrous yet often difficult journey. Children's early development takes place within the context of their close relationships. My work focusses on helping to optimize the parent-child relationship as the foundation for a child to reach their potential and have the best possible start in life. I have focussed my career on working with children, including children with developmental differences and various medical challenges through settings such as Montreal Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario, and the Alberta Children's Hospital. I look forward to journeying with you on the adventure of parenting.
I delight in helping parents to see the wonder of the world afresh through the eyes of their children. I focus on the challenging areas encountered with young children such as picky eating, emotional regulation, sleep issues, toiletting, and behavioural concerns. In addition, I conduct cognitive/educational assessments.
I aim to empower parents as the "bigger, stronger, wiser, and kind" half of the parent-child relationship, and as such, I walk along side them as they make shifts in order to bring about the change within the family that they desire. I specialize in parent-child attachment.
