I am a psychotherapist who specializes in helping individuals heal from trauma, relationship issues, and other concerns. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including “Parts work” which is based on the idea that each person has many different parts to their minds and psyches. Each of these parts has unique needs, wants, and beliefs and may be consciously or unconsciously helping or harming us as we move through our days. I help my clients integrate the many pieces within them to create more choice, expand their capacity to problem-solve, and to give them a greater sense of wholeness and aliveness in their daily lives.
I enjoy utilizing various concepts that can be visually represented, such as the Drama Triangle, the Winner Triangle, and the Parent, Adult, and Child ego states. These concepts help us comprehend the psychological games that are being played in our lives and how we can creatively alter the dynamics to cultivate autonomy, authenticity, and intimacy.
