Hello! I believe all people have a strong desire to be seen, heard, and understood. Counselling is a place to discover parts of ourselves, to solve long-standing problems, to improve our emotional well-being, and to gain insight into our lives. We all struggle from time to time, my focus is to work with clients in a warm, collaborative, and effective manner to assist movement in a direction that promotes mental wellness.
I have been working in the field since 2007 in a variety of settings, and work with clients with a wide range of concerns, such as everyday stress, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, life transitions, grief and loss, psychosis, and trauma. I take a mindful, yet practical approach to help clients achieve their counseling goals.
I strive to guide my clients to a more positive, comfortable state of mental health. I holds space in a genuine way while using effective interventions to promote clients’ overall wellness. I strives to create a safe and accessible experience in counselling by interweaving elements of yoga and mindfulness with therapeutic tools.
