Life can present challenging experiences that can leave us feeling stuck or broken and keep us from living the life we want. I empower clients to overcome this and to return to the wholeness that is their true nature. I work with teens and young adults who experience high levels of stress or anxiety, depression, relentless self-blame or shame, perfectionism, burn-out, low self-esteem, relationship issues, difficulty in regulating and/or expressing their emotions, and/or who have experienced trauma. I will hold compassionate space for you to be heard and to move towards the change you wish to see.
In my work, I take an eclectic approach, drawing from different modalities to provide the needed flexibility in supporting you where you are. I also take a trauma informed approach and am trained in EMDR therapy to help address and process underlying trauma or adverse experiences that can maintain or worsen presenting symptoms.
Feeling heard and understood is an important part to therapy that requires trust and connection with your therapist. I offer free 15-minute phone consultations to give you the opportunity to ask questions and see if I am the right fit for you. Please note: Availability in Uxbridge is Online only. In-person availability is in Aurora, ON.
