I am a Master Therapeutic Counsellor. My practice welcomes adults ages 18 years and older. I can help with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, parenting, career/work issues, family of origin issues, and really any desire for change. Psychotherapy is about becoming much more friendly towards oneself. By opening up to ourselves, we naturally open up to the joy of others and the possibilities of life itself. My practice is based upon a psycho-spiritual understanding of the self and informed by the new discoveries of neuroscience which prove transformation is possible by harnessing the power of neuroplasticity.
My practice is based upon the work of Dan Siegel (Interpersonal Neurobiology), Sue Johnson (EFT), Deb Dana (Polyvagal Theory), Pat Odgen and Janina Fisher (Sensorimotor psychotherapy), Heartmath, Mindfulness Self Compassion (Germer and Neff), the work of Gordon Neufeld and Gabor Mate, the spiritual teachings of Jeddah Mali and Buddhist Psychology.
