I work with individuals who are dealing with grief and loss, anxiety and depression, and relationships issues. I focus on creating a safe environment. I listen and am interested in what is happening in my clients' lives. I offer empathy and work with my clients to understand and then move forward from painful or frustrating life circumstances. If you would like to work with an open, non-judgmental and warm therapist then I encourage you to contact me. I also offer clinical supervision/consultation to both new and experienced therapists and I offer a 30-hour training course to therapists who wish to become clinical supervisors.
I have worked in the area of illness, grief and loss since 1998. I start where the client is at emotionally regarding the experience of their own illness or the loss of a loved one. The path is nonjudgmental and navigates and normalizes arising feelings. My aim is for clients to feel more compassionate about their own suffering and to integrate its meaning.
