Relationship and safety are two core concepts that guide my approach to practice. A grounded understanding in the neurobiology of development and trauma, the role of attachment experiences, as well as contextual factors and a belief in the body’s inherent capacity for healing help inform my assessment and interventions. We heal through knowing ourselves and in connection to the world and the relationships around us.
I have worked for twenty years with survivors of interpersonal violence and abuse including childhood sexual trauma and disrupted attachments. I also have extensive experience working with folks around areas relating to gender identity.
I am committed to centering you in the process; my approach is relational, flexible and responsive with an invitation through therapy to release old patterns and define a joyful and meaningful path.
