Joel is passionate about ensuring people feel safe and that their stories are being heard during the therapeutic process. He focuses on techniques that put clients and their unique experiences first. Grounded in Humanistic therapy, his approach is eclectic and includes Cognitive-Behavioural, Existential, Strengths-Based, and Mindfulness-based methods. While Joel continuously expands his knowledge and practice, some of his areas of focus include anxiety, depression, sleep, existential angst and dread, grief and loss, issues in academics, and career uncertainty. He works with adolescents and adults in his practice.
