With over 30 years of experience as a therapist , I am passionate about supporting people around their mental health, the quality of their relationships and overall well being. Mental health is tied to relational health. I work along side people to help them move forward in their lives, beyond the problems that keep them stuck and unfulfilled. Through our work together my hope is that people will find new possibilities for living their life, find greater overall joy and fulfillment. I specialize in areas of mental health, depression, anxiety, stress , substance misuse and relationships.
I draw from many therapeutic approaches which allows me to tailor my approach to specific needs. These approaches include cognitive behaviour therapy, narrative therapy, solution focused and couple/family systems. In my work with people I help them identify their values, skills and strengths to move towards identified goals.
My specialized trainings include Mindfulness Without Borders, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gottman Level 1 (couples) and Relational Life Therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy ,Addictions treatment and Narrative therapy. I welcome the opportunity to help my clients live fully and authentically and beyond the concern that initially brought them to therapy.
