Everyone experiences difficult times in their life where they may struggle, feel stuck or just want someone to talk with. As an experienced and regulated health provider, I can help you navigate your thoughts and feelings, build up your strengths and resilience and learn new skills to help you realize your therapy goals and live your best possible life. I offer client-centred, evidence-based and quality services for individuals over the age of 6 years, however my areas of interest and specialization are trauma, anxiety and depression, workplace issues, women’s issues, and services for children and youth.
I am a registered nurse psychotherapist who has formal training in art and play therapy, cognitive behaviour therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, trauma and loss, and family wellness. I have more than 15 years of experience as a therapist and have experience working with diverse populations such as LGBTQ2+, Mennonite and Indigenous Peoples.
My centre provides a comfortable counselling space as well as a dedicated playroom that is set up to meet the therapeutic and developmental needs of children. Evening and weekend appointments are available. Call for details around insurance coverage. Appointments may be available for sliding fee.
