As a Registered Psychotherapist and a Canadian Certified Counsellor, I strive to provide non-judgemental and compassionate care to every individual I support. I specialize in anxiety, post-traumatic stress, trauma and/or abuse, depression, relationship issues, substance misuse, emotional dysregulation, stress, and other mental health concerns. In my therapeutic relationships, I foster trust, focus on strengths, and seek collaboration with clients through my adoption of a client-centred and trauma-informed perspective.
I have extensive experience supporting youth and adults, including high-risk pregnant/parenting youth. I practice with an integrative approach utilizing Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI); I strive to provide trust, safety, choice, collaboration, and empowerment.
