I am a registered Psychologist Candidate (C. Psych Cand.) with the Psychological Association of MB. I work collaboratively with clients to regain balance in their lives using evidence-based treatments. Therapy can be used in many different ways: to process emotions and trauma, to increase mindfulness and understanding, to learn new skills to cope with challenges, as well as to gain perspective or advice. Some common presenting concerns I work with in therapy are neurodiversity (ADHD, ASD), anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, perfectionism, emotion regulation, sleep, parent coaching, trauma, mood + suicidality, among others.
I currently offer adult assessments for ADHD, PTSD/trauma, mood, anxiety, personality disorders, as well as screening assessments for ASD. I conduct child assessments and provide child psychotherapy through Kidthink. I use a variety of integrative treatment approaches, primarily mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural interventions, to meet client needs.
Together, we will set small + large goals that will be accomplished throughout treatment and guide session focus, utilizing a blend of acceptance and change based strategies.
