I work primarily with families, couples, children and adolescents and specialize in supporting clients with a multitude of issues. People are resilient and capable of living fulfilled lives. Given an environment that is respectful and supportive even those who have felt stuck or hopeless can find their way.
I am also a counsellor with several EAP (Employee Assistance Programs) providing counselling and support to people struggling with a variety of challenges such as burn out, family dysfunction and life cycle changes.
Extensive experience in the Health and Social Service network as well as Youth Protection, has created a passion to help families, adolescents, and couples with the challenges of life. Crisis intervention, behaviour modification, divorce/separation, anger management, and conjugal violence counselling are all issues that I help client negotiate with in my private practice.
