It can be incredibly overwhelming starting to focus on your mental health and wanting to make changes but not knowing where to begin, this is where I come in. My commitment is to create a safe and supportive environment for all individuals and one that emphasizes growth and development in a non-judgemental manner to help support clients’ goals and ultimately living happy and meaningful lives.
I engage a strengths-based approach as well as focus my practice using an anti-oppressive framework that strives towards respect and compassion for all people. My goals for counselling focus on empowering individuals to make positive changes within their lives.
I have experience working with individuals, couples, and groups as well as children and youth struggling with a broad range of difficulties and primarily work from a Cognitive Behavioural informed approach, but also find it highly effective to utilize an integrative approach to support all individuals’ unique situations and experiences.
