Life can be difficult - we all go through struggles as we navigate the ups and downs of our experience. This can be further complicated when we're a member of a minority or marginalized group. As a queer woman myself, I am passionate about working with other queer individuals to help them explore and discover who they are, and how they want to express themselves in the world. Whether you're struggling with your sexuality, gender identity, depression, anxiety, or just having a hard time managing stress and life changes - I'm here to help!
I work primarily with the queer community, and specifically with transgender folks navigating their identity and the transition process. I have a wealth of experience with other populations and difficulties as well, including OCD, anxiety, workplace issues, interpersonal issues, life transitions, and more.
At Roots in Wellness we offer a safe space for all people, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, or sexuality. We take an anti-oppressive and trauma informed approach to therapy to ensure that everyone has a place where they can feel heard without fear of judgement, and move towards the things that are important to them without societal pressure.

Roots in Wellness is thrilled to announce our upcoming group, Unapologetically You! Exploring and embracing your identity and sexuality can feel overwhelming, isolating, challenging and confusing, especially at school. The purpose of the group is to provide an inclusive, anti-oppressive based space to share your thoughts and feelings, enable connection, and support a community of wellness. Each session will include an element of mindfulness as well as opportunities to discuss problems, connect with peers, and learn new evidence based skills and techniques to navigate the world we live in!
