I am a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist with over 20 years of clinical experience in the public mental health system. I have been a psychologist at St. Joseph’s Healthcare, Hamilton since 2007 and hold a full-time academic appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioural Neurosciences at McMaster University. I provide a wide range of evidence-based psychological treatments for individuals with complex mental health challenges or for those looking to make life changes or who need assistance navigating complicated life circumstances.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in principles of interpersonal and cognitive behavioural therapy and trauma-informed. Additionally, techniques from Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Compassion-Focused Therapy may be incorporated to address the unique needs and life circumstances of every client.
