As a skilled Counselling Therapist I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space to gently explore the difficulties that can cause us pain and suffering. In my practice I use an individualised, integrative, neurodiversity and 2SLGBTQI+ affirming approach to empower my clients, develop skills and utilise the resources within to help face and resolve life’s challenges.
Everyone is different and clients will respond in varying degrees to different therapeutic approaches. In my practice, drawing from relational person-centered, psychodynamic, emotion-focused and solution-focused theories, I endeavour to discover and apply which approach is most useful to you.
The focus of my work is to help my clients learn to trust themselves and realise their potential. It helps to identify and understand long held beliefs and assumptions that get in the way of our health, happiness and wellbeing. This discovery gives us permission to begin to question and evaluate the beliefs and assumptions that form barriers to our health.
