I have primarily worked with the male population who appear to struggle with expressing their genuine emotions to their significant others. In a safe and secure therapeutic setting, my clients can find the comfort to express themselves authentically. I aim to assist them in moving towards self-acceptance, self-compassion, and developing strategies to enhance their connections with others. Additionally, we can address emotional management techniques, including anger management, during our sessions.
My main counselling approach is what psychologists call Client-Centred Therapy. It's a supportive, non-judgmental space where you lead the conversation to find your own solutions and personal growth. I also integrate CBT, DBT, and ACT in my practice which are basically toolkits to help you better cope with overwhelming moments in your life.
Having worked with a wide range of clients, I have become a culturally sensitive therapist who understands the client’s background and belief system. I consider every client to have a unique personality from whom I also can learn.
