Hi, I'm Jade, a Registered Social Worker with a Masters Level degree. I am registered with the College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I am currently only offering virtual services across Ontario. I have been in the social work field for over ten years and have worked in a number of different areas such as a residential counsellor, psychogeriatric social worker, child protection and crisis work.
I have completed training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. My focus has included a wide range of support in life transitions, supportive counselling, substance use concerns, depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and emotional dysregulation.
My approach to therapy is client led as I believe that people are the experts of their own life journey and experiences. I will provide you with a non-judgmental and compassionate space. I believe in everyone's inherent capacity to change and grow. My role is to support your growth through goal formulation and implementing a plan to best support your needs!
