I'm a Registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with young adults and their families. I hold a Master of Social Work degree from McMaster University. I specialize in working with women experiencing stress and anxiety related to hormonal changes, work, and family/relationship issues. I also work with teens and young adults struggling with ADHD, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, anger, career and school transitions. I have a passion in supporting women entering the menopause transition, from peri to post-menopause. My priority is to create a safe, non-judgemental space where you can share your story.
I provide individual therapy to teens, youth and women from a strengths-based approach. We work together to develop strategies for managing the stressors of life's experiences. I integrate evidence based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy and Solution-focused Counselling in my practice.
I am passionate about helping empower people to recognize their own strengths as we work together to overcome their challenges. I am compassionate listener who offers a caring and empathetic approach to therapy.
