Hello, radiant soul! I am an Art Therapist with a Social Work background. I specialize in trauma and I work with children, adults and families to help them recognize and affirm their resilience and resources. I aim to offer a safe haven for self-discovery and transformation through creative arts. I see humans as the artists of their lives, who use a unique pallet to distinguish and define them. I am a guest on their inner journey, helping them to navigate their emotions, memories, and identities that shape their whole person. My role is to support my clients to find creative paths to heal, repair and develop better coping skills.
My therapeutic approach is client-centered, attachment-based, trauma-informed, and emotions-focused. I facilitate a process that has the therapeutic goal of cultivating self-compassion and acceptance and helping my clients to unburden themselves of the feelings of shame, guilt, and helplessness that hold them back, emphasizing playfulness and creativity.
I accompany my clients and their families through significant transitions that can be difficult and occasionally traumatic. I work with new parents who face the hardships of this new and demanding role, children and families in adjustment to separation and divorce, transitioning into a new environment, accepting a new family member, or dealing with grief.

I apply a trauma-focused approach to creative arts and play therapy, which uses creative expression to enable individuals to process and heal from traumatic and distressing experiences. It integrates art-making techniques with therapeutic principles to address the impact of trauma on a person's emotional, cognitive, and physical well-being. Healing is in playing, playing leads to healing!
