Welcome! For over 20 years now, I've worked with people struggling with low self esteem, depression, anxiety and life crises using ISTDP, a dynamic therapy model that creates quick and lasting change. For couples who are struggling with a lack of intimacy and communication difficulties, I use Emotionally Focused Therapy. EFT is a research based model proven to help couples see their negative patterns and habits, and help them make better choices so that their relationship can improve and deepen. I specialize in couples work. I practice Emotionally Focused Therapy which boasts the highest success rate of any couples therapy. We work together to identify the dynamic between the partners, the emotions, the behaviors and the unmet needs that are underneath it all.
My style in session can be humorous and lighthearted or direct and persistent. I am respectful and empathetic with my clients. I aim for equal air time for each person to feel heard, understood and validated in a safe environment. I work hard to help couples achieve the results they want.
