I work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression and low mood as well as perfectionism & negative self-talk. I have significant experience in as well as a particular passion for working with post-secondary students. From my experience working at various Colleges and Universities, I have a deep understanding of the unique challenges, stressors, and unseen mental toll being a student can take. I particularly enjoy working with clients who are curious about the impact of their childhood on their current-day suffering & are motivated to not only make changes to ease suffering, but to also find more joy in their life.
Drawing from training in a variety of therapeutic approaches, I will help you identify what may be contributing to the undue stress you are experiencing, gently examine what may be getting in the way of living by your most cherished values, and encourage you to specify and enact the life you want to lead.
Taking the first step to reach out for help & create change in your life can be overwhelming at first. Because of this, I dedicate great care to creating a safe and non-judgmental space conducive to personal growth.
