Areas of counselling: reproductive counselling (including reproductive choices such as the use of donor, surrogacy, or adoption, as well as exploring personal dilemmas that may be experienced when considering reproductive choices), counselling for in/fertility challenges during treatment, helping clients to explore family options beyond fertility treatment, reproductive counselling specific to single women and LGBTQ couples, perinatal counselling including: postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, grief, loss, and couples counselling.
Hopeful Pathways is a service dedicated to helping navigate relationship and communication challenges as well as all aspects of creating a family - from fertility and reproductive challenges, perinatal concerns (PPD & PPA), and birth trauma. We also work with grief associated with infertility, miscarriage, and unmet expectations and the traditional family.
Each journey of creating a family is unique. Therapy can provide education, support and coping skills as individuals and couples manage the process in a safe, empathic environment. In addition to my education and training, I also have lived experience in the areas of fertility and postpartum difficulties. I will walk with you along each step of your journey.
